Joyful Noise, family fun fest 2009

After we dropped off the chicks to the farm we went to the Joyful Noise, family fun fest and we had LOTS of fun!! We meet "Cousin" aka Emily there and it we could not have asked for a more beautiful day! Adam was thrilled to actually hear and meet someone from American Idol!!! Chris Sligh was on 3 years ago, I believe. Adam actually really liked him when he was on and we even voted for him a few times. And if I remember correctly Adam even shed a fear tears when he got kicked off.
He had Chris sign both fists!! I'm pretty sure Adam did "knuckles" aka "fist bumps" with everyone at family fun fest!
They had a ton of those huge inflatable jumping and sliding things. They had some, I had never seen before.
This is how my darling husband has earned the name, Mr. fun. I would never ever in a million years put one of those disgusting sweaty head gear things on my head, after being worn by hundreds of other people!!! And dear sweet cousin, though did not want to, said she "would do it for Adam" but lucky for her, Adam challenged his Dad!

We got to hear and meet one of Adam's (and mine and Emily's ) favorite bands "10th Ave North" they are an awesome Christian band and I have to say they are some of the nicest guys we have meet! They were super nice to Adam and really gave him their time and attention even though there was a very big line of fans also waiting to meet them.
Of course, Adam had to have them sign his arm. He loved the "look" of his arm. And could not wait to go home and ride his bike because he thought it looked like he had tattoos. And if you give a mouse a cookie, I mean if you give Adam a tattoo he needs ride his bike and pretend he is on a motorcycle and is a "biker dude".
It truly was a beautiful night, After 10th Ave North, we enjoyed Lincoln Brewster (which was Mr. fun's favorite) and then Mercy Me (which was my favorite of the night). This last picture is one of my favorite from yesterday!

Great post. Adam looks great as well as the rest of the family. How cool to meet Chris and get "signed". Looks like a lot of fun!

What a ton of fun! Did Adam dance to the music or just sit around looking "biker-cool"?
