2 cute stories.........

Picture is Adam and Molly homecoming Oct.2008

Okay, this happened yesterday and just made me laugh so, thought I'd share it. We were talking to my niece Molly on the phone and Adam wanted to sing her a song with his guitar, luckily Molly was thrilled and Adam sang a song from High School Musical 3, "Can I have this dance". I was actually amazed at the fact that he knew almost the entire song. Molly loved it and asked Adam if he would come to her prom and dance with her??? Adam said without any hesitation "I would be honored" not only was it so funny how he said it but, I had no idea he knew that expression or how and when to say it. I asked him where he had heard that, he looked at me as though I was completely hopeless and said "Umm Chad said it to his girlfriend Taylor" well, who would have thought their child would learn such nice language skills from HSM!!

We had the phone on speaker (it's the only way Adam will talk to people) Molly started talking about her boyfriend, who is a foreign exchange student from Norway and asked what I thought about what she should do when he goes back home in July. He plans on coming back in 2010 to go to college here and he would like to try to stay in a long distance relationship. During this Adam was getting a little antsy and to make it so, that I could have a talk with my niece, I told Adam that Molly needed our help and what did he think she should do?? A) be in a long distance relationship and not get to see her boyfriend for a very long time. or B) go out with other people and see what happens when he comes back in 2010. Again, without hesitation Adam said "I think you should go out with other people" Then in an attempt to get the conversation focused back on him he said "Okay Molly, now I need your help with a problem........it's about my brother being far away should I A) keep loving him B) fight him or C) go see him... Being the funny Mom I am, I said or D) get a new brother and lets just say if looks could kill, I would not be here and he said "SHHHH no, no new brother. Molly gave him amazing advice, she told him she thought he should go with "keep loving him and go see him" I couldn't agree with her more!
