Adam and Brittany celebrating her 13th bday!!

Is it just me, or does he not look a little like Bob the builder here :)

My niece who also happens to be our godchild, came and stayed with us for a few days during her spring break. Adam was in ~heaven~!!! We went to the Children's museum, and celebrated her birthday at a Japanese steak house. Adam was not ready for her to go home, though if we waited until he was ready Brittany would be a very, very, old lady. People leaving has never been easy for Adam. When ever we have a play date or the neighbor kids are over, it always ends with Adam in a puddle of tears. It probably sounds like we don't do it enough, but we really really do. I don't get it. I wish I could help him. But everything we have tried, nothing seems to work. I think it's interesting that if we go to one of his Special Olympic activities where his friends also are at, he has no problem leaving them without crying. And if he is at a friends house and the play date is over he never cries when he has to go. It is only when friends/cousins leave our home. He wants everyone to live us!!!! And as you can tell from the above pictures he is still up to his same tricks with the peace sign. :)
