Happy belated World Down Syndrome Day!! When I told Adam it was World Down Syndrome day, he got a big smile and said "really!!, can we go???" I didn't say this but I was thinking, oh honey we are already there. I did tell him I didn't think there was anywhere to actually go for it, but it was a day to help educate the world about down syndrome. Thankfully he was fine with that answer. Then I told him about an awesome post I read, on one of my favorite blogs, scarehaircare and how her daughter the "Love Magnet" thought everyone should make chocolate birthday cake with sprinkles to celebrate(she also thought their should be candles, but I totally forgot that part!! next year we will add candles) first Adam giggled and said "Love Magnet is kinda a weird name for a little girl" I didn't even attempt to explain how it was her "blog name" because we already have issues with Adam having different names every hour, I just said "I think it's kinda cute" Adam smiled and said "yeah, it is", he then said how he thought that she had a GREAT IDEA!!! and we should celebrate that way also. I totally agreed, and we got busy!! Love Magnet, you are one smart cookie, and this is totally going to be a tradition for us!!!! We highly recommend it! But don't forget the candles, I'm kinda bummed I did, I know Adam would have loved that!

Monica and Adam,
Happy World Down Syndrome Day!!
Let's celebrate with a field trip to the children's museum this week. Wednesday? Thursday?
Call me!
Can I have a piece of that cake?
Love,
Kathy
How blessed you are. Such a handsome son! I would love a piece of that cake right about now. Got the munchies:)
what a great idea! Next year we should do this for all our DS friends from the RAVE or something!
VERY COOL, ADAM! This is great. Our celebration cake will have to wait as I came down with the flu (flu shot didn't help this year). this week we'll have our own belated birthday celebration.
I always enjoy visiting this blog and seeing what exciting things Adam is doing. He looks like he is enjoying life. That is cool.
What a great idea! We will be doing this too next year! Love the hat too!
Ohhh, yummy cake! Adam looks so professional in his baker's hat.
